Split Frame 4.1.jpg

In this episode, Allison and Nick talk with their friend Dr. Ingrid Faro. Dr. Faro is an Old Testament scholar and theologian who has done extensive work on the problem of evil in Genesis. She has authored:

  • “The Question of Evil and Animal Death Before the Fall,” Trinity Journal 36/2 (2015).

  • Entries: “Amen,” “Tree of Life,” “Semantics,” and “Strength” in Lexham Theological Workbook. Douglas Magnum, ed. 2014.

  • Ingrid has a major monograph coming out from Lexham press about the subject of God and evil and Genesis! Keep your eyes peeled! We will share it on social media when we get a pre-order link!

She has taught Old Testament studies and Hebrew at Northern Seminary, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, North Park Theological Seminary, and The Scandinavian School of Theology. You can also find her on Linkedin.

However, there is so much more to what Ingrid has done for the church: her story of faith is shattering and powerful, as God has moved her through a time of deep darkness. May it bless you!
